The new Royal Decree (RD 1614/2010) which governs and modifies certain aspects of electricity generation activities in Spain which use solar thermoelectric and wind power technologies, dated December 7th and published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on December 8th, 2010, is the response of the Government to try to contribute to the economic sustainability of the system. The new Royal Decree came into force on December 9th, 2010.
On 20th December the Commission published a Communication which outlines the most serious tax problems that EU citizens face in cross-border situations and announces plans for solutions. Die EU-Mitgliedstaaten haben am 3. Dezember 2010 Vorschriften gebilligt, die bei internationalen Scheidungsfällen Rechtssicherheit bringen werden. Dies betrifft sowohl Ehepaare mit gemischter Staatsangehörigkeit, Ehepaare, die getrennt in verschiedenen Ländern leben als auch Ehepaare, die zusammen in einem anderen Land als ihrem Heimatland leben. Nach den neuen Vorschriften haben sie die Wahl, nach welchem Landesrecht sie sich scheiden lassen wollen. EU Member States endorsed on 3rd December rules that will bring legal certainty to international couples wishing to divorce. The new legislation will give a choice as to which country’s rules apply in case of divorce for couples with different nationalities, those living apart in different countries or those living together in a country other than their home country.
